Hands Down This old barn is just around the corner from where we live in Lancaster County, where, by the way, more tobacco is grown than in any other county in the country. This is partly due to the fact that raising tobacco is such back-breaking labor, and modern machinery is not much help. Thus the Amish and Mennonite farmers can compete on equal terms with the "English" farmers. Tobacco is stripped and hung in bundles called "hands", inspiring the name of our picture, Hands Down! Sizes: 13 3/4" x 12" - Suggesetd Mat Colors: Williamsburg Blue Outer Mat, Nutmeg Inner Mat
